原語版では「盲目の山賊」ですが、日本語版では「盲目のギャング」。

アメリカの作品らしく、「コロシアム」、「マッチョ」、「相撲取り」(笑)大好きな感じが出てますな。作画が素晴らしく、アクションが見所一杯。マトリックスか攻殻機動隊か。

トフは思ったより姫様キャラで、ベンダーとしての強さの裏側に、か細い感じがあってよかった。でもやっぱりしたたかだけど。カタラさんがよりいっそうしたたかになってたんで面食らいましたが、トフとの対比で、お姉さんぽさを出していこうとしているのでしょうか。

トフが裸足なのは、足の裏で全てを感知しているからなのね。

ちょっと予想と違う展開だったけど、面白かった。トフの声は子供らしさが出ていていいけど、もうちょっと心情表現の演技にバリエーションが出るともっといい。いっぽうカタラさん役の声優さんはすごくうまくなってるなあ。

An original subtitle of “Earth chapter 6” was “The Blind Bandit”. But it is “The Blind Gang” in a Japanese version.

I think that “Colosseum”, “Macho” and “Sumo wrestler” are loved particularly in the American cartoon. The picture of this film is wonderful. And there are a lot of highlights as for the action scene. I think this action scene is rivaled to “Matrix” or “Ghost in the shell”.

Toph’s character is like a princess more than I had thought. She is keeping the weakness secret on the other side of strength of vender power. I like it. However, of course, she is tough too. And I am surprised because Katara grew up tougher. The director of Avatar wants to show that Katara looks senior compared with Toph, isn’t it?

I realized the reason why Toph is bare feet is that she perceives surroundings by her sole.

This episode was very interesting though it was a story different from my expectation. Acting of V.A. of Toph was shown that it seemed to be a child of 10 years old and was good. However, I think it is better when she performs a vibration of inner mind a little more. On the other hand, V.A. of Katara becomes good at acting very much.
